The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I bet most of you know this cover

Or recall this quote:”All grown-ups were once children… but only few of them remember it.”?

I also bet no one knows where Sengokuhara is? And that all of you wonder what “the Little Prince”, Sengokuhara and my trip to Japan have to do with each other?

Well normally you would think very little, until you run across this in the middle of the Japanese countryside

Yup a “Petit Prince” museum, high up in the hills 30KMs north of Hakone.
I love this book, so naturally we had to stop to see this.

The museum has a really nice collection of memorabilia and original artwork, displayed in a recreation of a French Village.

It’s not awfully big but very very nice, at least if you’re a fan!
I loved to see some of the original drawings

and a recreation of Antoine’s bedroom

There are some more pictures HERE

Or have a look at their Official Website

It shows that magic still exists in the least expected places

That has always been one of my favorite stories. I have been listening to the movie soundtrack for the past two weeks. Funny you should find him there. :o)
